Scope of application of MCA Deep cycle Gel battery

The MCA Deep cycle Gel battery utilizes a robust grid, high-purity lead, and a patented gel electrolyte for excellent recovery after deep discharge under frequent discharge cycles. It can deliver 500 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DOD), 900 cycles at 50% DOD and over 2000 cycles at 30% DOD.

The use of deep-cycle gel batteries

Thank you for choosing our Deep cycle Gel battery. To use the battery safely and correctly, please read the manual carefully before use. Please note that the cells mentioned below refer to the 2V single cell in the battery, correspondingly, a 12V battery has 6 cells, a 6V battery has 3 cells, and a 2V battery has 1 cell.

Standby Use of Deep cycle Gel battery

1. The constant charge voltage of the battery is 2.27V/cell (25 oC). When the ambient temperature is lower than 25oC or higher than 35oC, please adjust the charging voltage according to the temperature compensation coefficient. The recommended coefficient is -3.3mV/oC·cell.

2. The initial charging current should be less than 0.25CA. C is the relative capacity and A is the ampere of current.

3. We strongly recommend that the battery should be charged at an ambient temperature of 25 oC to 35 oC to prolong battery life.

Recycling of Deep cycle Gel battery

1. The battery charging voltage should be 2.45V/cell. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5oC or higher than 35oC, please adjust the charging voltage according to the temperature compensation coefficient. The recommended coefficient is -5mV/oC·cell.

2. The initial charging current should be less than 0.25 AC. C is the relative capacity and A is the ampere of current.

3. After charging, to avoid overcharging, please lower the charging voltage to 2.275V/cell (25oC).
